“Stitched” is an exhibit of quilts by eight local fiber artists at the Loading Dock Gallery, located in an historic mill building in Lowell. The eight artists have each developed their own unique style, ranging from the abstract to the representational. Their works incorporate diverse uses of texture, color, and line. The artists, members of the group “Joined by Stitch,” meet monthly and include Betsy Abbott, Agusta Agustsson, Tarja Cockell, Sue Colozzi, Janis Doucette, Anne Kimball, Madalene Murphy, and Alanna Nelson. “Stitched” runs from March 4-29, with a reception on Saturday, March 7 from 4-6pm.
