Come and view our show of diverse quilts. Typically 80+ quilts on show. A morning lecture on the history of crazy quilts and an example of an 1890s Crazy Quilt from the museum’s collection will be on show. The lecture as well as crazy quilt embroidered embellishment techniques will be demonstrated each day beginning at 11:00 am. The museum’s in progress community quilt called “colors and calico” will be on view. The quilt features fabrics naturally dyed in the museum’s textile studio. The show will feature natural dye demonstrations, a raffle quilt, awards, and a chance to vote for the peoples choice award. Entries to the show will be considered until July 31st.
